With over three decades of operational experience, he’s trained thousands of soldiers, law enforcement, and tactical units in close quarter battle (CQB) and defensive tactics. From urban warfare to high-risk extraction scenarios, his instruction is built for the real world, fast, brutal, and effective.
A former private military contractor and operating engineer specializing in protective systems manufacturing, Brent has also engineered and manufactured millions of gallons of mission-grade protective products, used by warfighters and first responders across the globe. His expertise bridges the gap between battlefield-tested tactics and industrial-scale protection.
Brent is a builder of warriors and a manufacturer of mission-grade protective products for warfighters and first responders. This is Brents passion and his mission!

Brent having a distinguished career in security, combative disciplines, and protective products manufacturing spanning more than 37 years, he brings an unparalleled depth of real-world experience and academic insight to his work. His professional journey began in foundational roles such as security guard, nightclub bouncer, and campus police officer, eventually progressing through increasingly specialized and leadership-oriented positions including security consultant, bodyguard, private military contractor, and sought after CQB instructor.
As a defensive tactics and close-quarters combat instructor since 1987 and a lifelong martial artist since 1972, Brent has trained thousands of professionals in military, law enforcement and civilian sectors. His entrepreneurial ventures include the founding and operation of multiple security firms, as well as the manufacture of innovative protective products. In parallel, he has also served as an Operating Engineer and investor, embodying the ethos of a modern polymath in the field of security and beyond.
Brent’s expertise is further informed by ongoing academic engagement in the fields of criminology, psychotherapy, and behavioral finance, offering him a multidimensional understanding of both threat dynamics and human behavior. His comprehensive background affords him a uniquely holistic perspective, blending tactical proficiency, psychological insight, and strategic foresight, on how best to serve individuals and organizations in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
